1. Sizing
As we are a multi label store, the sizing specifications may vary between brands. Please refer to sizing charts available for each and every item under their item description. Do bear in mind that maternity and nursing wear already take into account your bodily changes and have already catered for extra room around the bust, belly and hip area, where you are expected to grow. There is no need to upsize. Just choose your size based on your current measurements.

2. Caring for the Clothes
For best results, follow the care instructions on the label sewn onto the garment. As a general rule of thumb, all maternity and nursing wear should be hand-washed in cold water and air-dried. Washing in hot water and spinning in a hot tumble dryer will likely result in shrinkage, due to the high percentage of spandex and elastane in maternity and nursing wear. Do lay the garments flat when drying to avoid overstretching. This is especially for those garments made of stretch fabrics. Dry cleaned garments should not be hand-washed but dry cleaned only.

3. Can I rent the clothes online?
At the present moment, the online store is for purchases only. Except where stated, all the items sold online are brand new. Rental of clothes and purchase of more pre-loved items can only be done in person at our flagship store #03-108 Marina Square. This is only a small range of what we have to offer. 4. Placing An Order
To make an online order, please add the item/s that you wish to purchase to your shopping cart (“Add to Cart”) All your orders will be consolidated in your shopping cart, which you may view by clicking “View Cart” at the top of every page. When you have finished shopping, click “Checkout”. If you have not registered, you will be directed to do so. Thereafter, you may choose your billing and delivery options, and make payment.

Stock Status – If an item is not in stock, it will say so and the system will not allow you to make a purchase. If by a rare chance, your order cannot be fulfilled, (as may happen when a “last piece” item is bought in the main store at the same time you are making your order), we will send you an email as soon as possible to alert you. Any exchange or refund arrangements will be made from there.

Order Status – To track the status of your order, please contact us at sales@maternityexchange.sg. Please cite your order reference number. You may also search for your order here, and key in your first and last name and order number (e.g. ORD091208000150)

Changes to Order – Any amendments to the order will need to be made within 12 hours of confirmation and payment, as we practise “next working day” delivery for local orders. Please contact us at sales@maternityexchange.sg. or call +65 6100-3924(EXCH). If you would like to make a change after your order is sent, we will be happy to accommodate you, but you will be charged the additional delivery charges.

International Orders – We are able to accept international orders on a case-by-case basis. Please email us at sales@maternityexchange.sg with your request.

5. Payment Options – Singapore Only

All cheque payments are to be made out to "Maternity Exchange" and sent to: Maternity Exchange, #03-108 Marina Square, Singapore 039594.
As soon as the cheque is cleared, we will send out your order(s).

• Credit Card (in S$)
Make payments online with your Visa, MasterCard or American Express Card. Maternity Exchange uses PayPal, a leader in security technology. When you pay with PayPal, your credit card and bank numbers are not revealed to us. 6. Delivery Options – Singapore Only
For purchases of SGD100 and above, delivery to Singapore addresses will be free of charge via local courier. We offer next working day delivery, unless specified otherwise by the customer.

For purchases less than SGD100, mode of delivery will be via:

• Door-to-door courier delivery. This is available at a low flat rate of SGD7.00 island wide. For order payments received by 12noon, delivery will be made the next working day. Delivery will be made during office hours between 9.00 am to 7.00 pm from Mondays to Fridays. On Saturday, deliveries can only be made before 1 pm. Order payments confirmed by 12 noon on Saturday will be despatched on Monday. Special Requests: should you need deliveries after 1pm on Saturday, on Sundays, or on weekday nights after 7pm, there will be an additional charge of SGD 6 on top of the standard rates. No deliveries on public holidays.

• Self-collection (No charge applicable).
Your order may be picked up at our retail outlet (at Marina Square #03-108) during business hours.

7. Returns/Exchanges
While we are unable to accommodate refunds or returns, we will gladly accept requests for exchanges that are made within 7 days of receiving your items.

Do call Maternity Exchange at (+65) 6100-3924 or email us at sales@maternityexchange.sg to inform us of the exchange so that we can assess whether the item/s is eligible for exchange first.

We will email you a Return Authorisation Form for you to include in your return package. You may send the item back either:

1. in person at our store Marina Square #03-108, or by
2. registered mail
3. local door-to-door courier delivery

Please email us at sales@maternityexchange.sg when you have sent the item so that we know to look out for it.

Do note that you will be responsible for the delivery charges incurred for sending the parcel back to us and for us sending the new piece to you (at standard local rates) All items to be exchanged should be in a) original condition, unworn, unwashed, undamaged b) price tag intact c) together with invoice and return form. If items exchanged are of lower value, the difference will be forfeited. If items are of higher value, customers will be required to top up the difference. All sale/discounted items are not eligible for exchange/ refunds. Delivery/shipping fees are not refundable.
